Wow very cool! A huge thanks to NS for doing this, something like this would never happen with CSX. Though i wish it was a CSX unit instead, its a shame NS had to plate over the markers.

To clarify, Norfolk Southern lent the Conrail Historical Society this unit along with two others for the weekend. We, the CRHS, washed her and had a decal made to cover up the patched NS number under the cab window. We then made foam core number boards to place over the NS ones. I thank everyone who made this event possible and give many kudos to Jody for his shot.
