Gotta love long-hood forward running with GEs! I never realized that the Southern's units had the sound baffles on them (similar to those on the Santa Fe's and Southern Pacific's B36-7s). Great shot.

Bernie your photo collection is AMAZING-thanks so much for sharing. It is interesting to note that by this time Southern had already trimmed the upper baffle off.
