First off, I realize this photo is 5yrs old. But looking at it, I wonder if the engineers, maintenance crews and such of the Jitong Railway at all had some of the same feelings towards these locomotives and their dimise as railfans in the US did about ours and for some of us, even theirs?
Too bad there could not have been an in depth documentary film done of this railway. Would have been interesting to listen to some of them, (even though translated) and to see some of these locos in action.
