Nice catch, if you look closely you can still see the former Family Lines stripes on the long hood.

Awesome shot and great use of the wide angle! Too bad this wasn't more common nowadays, seemingly every train has some sort of widecab on the point.

Nice eye there Frank. Never would've noticed the old Family Lines paint. Grew up right across the street from those tracks in Aberdeen in the 80's. Saw a lot of great black and yellow SCLs, Family Lines and the Seaboard System paint later on. Good stuff. CSX needs a heritage program for the southeast lol
