After leasing these cars for several seasons, they were acquired by Seaboard Coast Line through a subsidiary, Hamburg Industries, and then lettered for the SCL, but maintained the "bird" names. Note the ex-C&O 10-6, acquired by Atlantic Coast Line, at the left.
