Nice thought, to be sure, but a 2-10-2 generally isn't really a practical choice for restoration to steam. They weren't designed for sustained passenger train speeds - they were the epitome of the slow drag engine, not really capable of rolling more than 35 or 40 MPH without dire consequences to the track. That's one of the reasons so many Northerns and 2-8-4's have been restored - they're fast and modern, and can keep from tying up the host road's main.
