When did they stop running along the Quay? I used to travel that line occasionally to get back home to Poole when there were too many drivers on the Truckline Ferry (max was 12 on some of the ships but they carried 50 trucks) and they couldnt charter enough aircraft to carry the balance. So many stories.........
I assume you took this pic from the bridge? I worked for a few years at Tods and usually drove along here to escape the traffic.

Incredible scene and looks scary place for people especially the children for road playing but a lovely place for railfans
