You just had to join in on all the 2-8-4 postings this week didn't you. ;-) I still prefer the look of the C&O Kanawhas over the Berks though. Very nice shot and story along with it.

Very nice shot, Jay! Were you able to get into the gate to capture the photo? I tried to shove my 18mm-55mm through the fence, but no such luck. We're going to ask the state park if they could open the gate up to allow an image, but before we could do so, our westbound departed Peach Creek.

Nice story and photo. But please don't use diesel nomenclature and call this steam locomotive a "unit"! Agh! :-)
