This very good broadside shot shows off 152s "as built" difference. A 4-6-2 Pacific she is, but her trailing axle has inside bearings that allow some side to side motion. Most Pacific locomotives have a swiveling truck under their fire box, but 152 was simply just not built that way. Of all remaining operational Pacific locomotives she just may be a unique example, of this variation.
