What an interesting paint scheme. DAIR & CN Paint schemes come to mind when looking at it.

Wow! That's quite THE private switcher!

Personally, this unit appears much better when not wearing CN colors. Great Shot!

Neat shot, Paul... your travels continue to pay off.

Paint scheme reminds me of a flag or when ketchup and mustard went railroading, yuck. They wore the CN zebra paint much better, as God intended. However, it's better looking in that paint than as a Mach III razor.

Interesting. I think it would've looked better with either all red or all yellow, rather than half and half, but that's just me.

I already miss the classical ZEBRA paint, CN or not! From what I've read on MLC's website, it will be used as a heavy duty switcher on newly laid down tracks at the plant.

Terrific paint scheme. Gee. I remember when these units were BRAND NEW and just getting set up at CN's MacMillan Yard in Toronto back in the day. It's great to see that the 5404 has found a new life in ND.
