Another example of how Kodachrome is superior to any other film. The image is 53 years old, and the keystone on the firebox is still bright red, the work clothes on the hostler are faded blue, the numbers and lettering are delux, unless it was relettered prior to 1948. An electronic image won't last this long no matter what measures are taken to save it for future generations.

Edward - Thanks for sharing this historical glimpse of Pennsy's finest at their last stronghold area of operation. Note: Locomotive #3750 in the background still survives today at Strasburg, P.A.
