Love the old v/line stuff, please keep posting. I visited South Dynon as a teenager in the late 80's and at one point me and my dad started going through a group of freshly delivered G class locos with our host. In a couple he even opened up the valve covers on the prime mover to give us a peek. I never got the numbers, but every time I see a G I wonder if it is one I toured when the paint was fresh.
