Thanks for these, my closest friend, who was the "Best man" at my wedding grew up in this area, he was born in Dar es Salaam, because his father worked for East African Railways and later based in Nairobi. His dad died spring 2009 band he only has occasional internet access so I pass relevant stuff to him, he usually has a tear in his eye when we discuss them. Massive memories for him!
