This must be the office as well as the motive power for the switching crew. Please note the windows below the front number boards as well as the side windows in the nose. I just wonder if the Gyralite on the nose still works. Thanks for this posting Charles.

I beleave thats a former BN 1965, sometime during the 1980s, the BN installed those extra windows for crew comfort, My guess is there was extra seats in the high hood area for additional crew members. The mars light must have been added after it was purchased by Coast Rail services, BN removed most mars lights after the 1970, very few where left intact on the locomotives when they where sold off or retired.
