Nick, the NPRR on the engine stands for Narragansett Pier Railroad. It was a Rhode Island based short line that ran from Kingston, RI to Wakefield, RI. The line ceased operations in 1981. The loco shown in this pic is still on the Yancey RR property. Thanx for sharing Mr. Sink!
