I was on the Lake Shore twice the past week, once eastbound, then back home westbound. I was not happy with the equipment being used, I was stuck in a Budd coach that was an absolute rattle-trap at speed, what a hunk of junk. Not to mention how the vestibules kept on getting filled up with snow! You would think with all the billions in stimulus money floating around they could buy Amtrak a few new coaches, or give them the funds and parts to repair what they have.

Its too bad things in the us arent run as well as they run the railroads in Europe and other countries. They seem to take it much more serious over there.
