I really am digging your Greenville & Northern series. The city (and/or county?) certainly did start pulling up tracks as soon as they could. You probably know this, but the G&N #704 became Carolina Piedmont (CPDR) #70 and worked out of Laurens, SC for a few years. Last I heard it was on the Georgia & Southwestern.
