This car still resides at the Bluegrass Railroad Museum. I applied for a grant for a cosmetic restorations in 2009 but it was not accepted. Structurally the car is still in very good shape, and hopefully we can accomplish at least an exterior restoration in the next couple of years.. Note on the "Sold Lou Scrap". I have been told by another museum member the car was saved from a scrap yard in Louisville. It had already been removed from the trucks and was lying on its side when a private individual purchased it from the scrap co. and had it moved initially to the Kentucky Railway Museum.
