Nice photo. The contrast made by the train, the snow and the blue sky is really nice. The second car behind the locomotive.. is that a diner?

The second car is a former Rio Grande, Pullman-Standard built, Baggage-RPO car from the Denver-Salt Lake City Prospector train. Built as part of a huge Chesapeake & Ohio postwar order, many of the C&O cars were sold off to other roads during actual construction, due to a sudden, sharp decline in C&O passenger services. The lead car is an ex-California Zephyr Budd-built car, of either D&RGW or WP origin.
