Chase... Cool photo and interesting remarks! It's nice to know this line may get a new lease on life, however, it looks like they have their work cut out for them! If possible, please do us a favor and upload a shot or two of this line in the same place as they're rebuilding it and then another one when it's all done and ready for service. I think it will be very interesting to compare the before and after shots...

Neat photo Chase. I love railroad tracks in this condition. I once lived next to Milwaukee Road and Penn Central lines near Chicago that were like this one. They made great hiking trails...even with the rail and ties still in place!

I too love photos like this. Always get me wondering when the last time a train went down the rails.
