Drawbars are definitely tweaked tight on that first coach car..... must have been a sharp jog leading right into the switch. Compare gaps between the unit/1st car and the 1st/2nd car compared to the rest of them.

One of my favorite leisurely activities is to take the bike trail from West Chicago up to Genoa, along the old right-of-way where this photo was taken. It's sad to see the trains gone, but there's something wonderful about being all alone, riding miles and miles across the prairie where the tracks would have been.
