I have never seen so many one unit wonders on NS in one day. I think I counted 5 or 6 of them which all got helpers here in Altoona which then lead to a shortage of helpers.

I love seeing one unit wonders on coal trains, It alway's gives you a sense of the power today's engine's actually have. Although this train is most likely empty.

Nice shot John, I'm assuming you had a great afternoon at the CRHS BBQ on Saturday too. I shot this 539 out in Mifflintown that day, too bad I hit the wrong button on the Nikon and deleted the photo when I meant to press the "play" button below the "trashcan" button that I hit. Oh well, that's life. Now I have a lot or work to do to the remaining photo I took a frame back.
