Thanks Mr. Sink for posting this photo. I grew up with the CHW and so grew my interest in trains. In the 70's, Harrisonburg Middle and High School were just a block away from the CHW yard. I would always stop and watch the T-6's switching in the yard. There was an engine house and small yard in Elkton 20 miles from Harrisonburg. Every evening they would leave for Elkton and then return the following morning. The N&W purchased the C&W in the 1950's but the CHW logo remained.
