As nice as the scenery is, I have to say those tractors have completely ruined the appeal of the cog.

I like the picture Dan. Emerging into view does it for me. This diesel may be less attractive to railfans then the old puffer bellies. I would not go so far as to say ruined the appeal. The strangest thing for me is that I never got more than one or two photographs of the Cog, but I did shoot many hours of video. I love the White Mountains. The biggest loss to me is the Old Man.
