Paolo if you go to Bing Maps and zoom in on the Boston and Maine shop area in North Billerica you can still see images of Guilford diesels and other rolling stock put out of service and not yet moved to Waterville, ME. If you use the bird’s eye feature you get a three dimensional view. It is amazing how big the shop area was. This building is a poster child for the excess capacity the railroad industry still had a the end of World War II.
