If the museum people restore Old Rivets cosmetically again - like she needs to be - it would be nice if they were to honor Conrail for a couple of months and paint her in this scheme for a short time. Just a wishful thought to remember Big Blue too, now that Conrail is a "Fallen Flag" also. I would travel to see Ol' Rivets in Conrail Blue one more time...then they can paint her in the "as first built for the Pennsy. Railroad scheme" she wore first. It would also be interesting to see her in the PRR Yellow/Black scheme too. Nice photo Tom - I miss both of these historic representations...The GG1's and Big Blue (Conrail).
