Wow, this old Algoma Central operation has really been spruced up with those ex-Santa Fe Budd coaches! I imagine, however, that these do not represent those with 46 seats as built, but those reconfigured with higher density seats for Amtrak's NE Corridor service.

J.C., when I rode in those cars last year I found them to be plenty spacious with more than enough room for my 6'2" frame between rows, high ceilings and blue velvet upholstery and headliners. Didn't count the seats, but I would guess their capacity to be no more than the original 46 you mentioned. I'll be on them again 2 weeks from today, I'll try to remember to count them! ;-D Wayne
