Great shot. A few years later I spent a few weeks on a job a few miles south at Artois and enjoyed seeing the occasional freight train slumped along at 20 mph or so. The long ABS blocks were designed for a grander earlier time when the line hosted passenger service.

Outstanding catch and photo, Drew. The SDP's were a very neat concept and quick way to adapt a freight unit to passenger service
