Interesting place to take a photo. Is the old rail bridge in front of you the original track, or it is an abandoned line?

I believe the abandoned bridge was originally the third main track. Perhaps someone who knows the C&O better than I do can give more accurate dates, but I believe it was removed sometime in the 1970's.

First photo I can confirm I was on it! Thanks for grabbing it. We were very late into Washington. (3.5 hrs) So I assume this shot was a rare daylight one at this time of year. It was a wonderful run despite the delays. Mark
