Built as the Ottawa, Arnprior and Parry Sound Railway during the 1890's by lumber baron JR Booth, this railway had trains running every 30 minutes in it's heyday. Not too much left to see now, the drive into the Rain Lake access point, on the west side of the Park, is all on rail roadbed and through the big valley where the Cashman Creek trestle used to stand. Love the photo of this portion.
