Nice Stephen. A part of railroading not often captured. A lot of good "railroaders at work" shots popping up here today.

Nicely captured and wonderfully explained, Stephen. Certainly a wildly different method than today's laser-guided mechanical tampers and accurate-to-ridiculous-degrees-of-precision surveying transits.
