John, this picture is beautiful. You caught South Station before it became gentrified with high platforms and buildings hiding the tracks. The Alco PA, GP9, signal bridges and tower would soon be gone. You caught all of this history with a great mood scene composed like a painting.

Very nice shot! I saw the gutted version of this unit, 90208, leading a train a few minutes ago. Nice to see it in a better time.
