Classic shot.

Love this shot- clear blue sky and pristine white snow, contrasted with grimy railroad equipment. Classic DRGW paint schemes. BTW- 'cookie box' paint was all silver or white on special insulated box cars (with red slogan and black DRGW lettering). This caboose is the Aspen Gold/ aluminum with 1-black stripe paint scheme; the Rio Grande had all black, gold/aluminum with 4-stripes, and solid orange "Action Road" cabooses. All 4 paint swchemes ran concurrently for years, and were only painted if they managed to catch the painter when shopped for maintenance. I'll bet this was a frosty 'highball' ! Thanks for sharing a nice shot.
