Was it really necessary to remove the knuckle from the coupler? I mean, it's not like something is going to accidentally couple on to the caboose and haul it away.

The missing knuckle -- my bet is a train broke a knuckle and the took the caboose's as a replacement. Also I can understand 4 train order boards but what were the 5th and 6trh light? Open and closed station?
