I remember 2419 when it was brand new in 1982. I was a kid and I remember helping carry the plastic covers on the seats to the trash. I still have the operators manual for 2419 from EMD. It was my keepsake from my first cab ride.

I believe 2419 is still being operated on biodiesel. Going by the decal on bottom of cab and the odd fuel cap anyway. I would really like to see it get a fresh paint job. Maybe into as delivered Southern black and gold and the number 2419A
