The 105 must be preparing to leave Frankfort for good because she has a single horn. The F & C loved the horns that the GE 70 toners were delivered with. As the used Alcos arrived they were given the horns from the departing GE's. The good folks at the F & C shop knew a good thing when they saw it, the ex-B & O Alcos received some letter alteration. Part of the B was painted out to make an F, and part of the O was painted out to make a C. The herald got the same treatment with the Capital Dome being retained and the same lettering change. This fit right in as the city of Frankfort is the Capitol of Kentucky. One of the Alcos actually received the full Pincely paint job before the line shut down. I grew up in the Paris, Ky. area and worked in Frankfort so I know a lot about the line.
