Every time a Amtrak train breaks down or needs engines changed in some way has anyone ever noticed that 90% of the time they are rescued by an NS unit, specifically Dash 9s? This is the second time in recent memory that such an occurrence has happened. The first was sometime last year or the one before. Same region, different train. In this case the train involved was the Capital Limited. It was lead by another NS Dash 9 that replaced the lead Amtrak unit after it either hit a car or hit a track walker. A video is on Youtube showing the train returning from Washington directly outside that city on the return route. As for this train, it continues to live up to its reputation by the name of the Late for Sure Limited.
