As a streamliner-era passenger train buff, I love early Amtrak pictures like this, where I can attempt to identify the cars in the consist. The two baggage car are both ex-Santa Fe, the first fom Budd, the second a Pullman product. The two Budd 10-6 sleepers include a Union Pacific car from its "Pacific"-series (extra deep letterboard,) and one of only two Pennsy, slab-sided Budds, either "Toronto Islands" or "Toronto Harbor," (Amtrak names.) The Pullman-built diner, with the center service door, is former Atlantic Coast Line, as are the first and last Budd coaches, identified by their abbreviated skits, whereas the middle coach is a former New York Central, stainless-sheathed, 3000-series Pullman product. Thanks Don.
