He's warming his lunch on the tank that holds the water for the radiators. I don't understand why guys put their food here; When the engine is under load the tank is mostly empty, so it doesn't get that warm. I always wrapped my food in a garbage bag and put it on the oil pump.

I have taken food and wrapped it in foil and wedged it in on the turbo. Just have to be careful not to overcook it.

Given the fact it's a GE, I would guess he's looking for the hampster to goose it into spitting out a few more rev's.
