This train was a favorite for high/wide shipments for quite a while, due to their inability to get out of the way of faster traffic on the former New York Central or Pennsylvania mains. Catching this train on the former Erie west of Hornell was a treat for a camera toting fan. In a highly unlikely twist, this line is a bigger attraction thanks to Western New York & Pennsylvania using ALCOs!
