A real gem! I can't help lamenting the short-sightedness of the politicians who were seemingly eager to scrap this line. I got what I could on my last visit to the St. Paul Pass area, but derailments were disrupting traffic. This was not a total loss, as I moved on to the BN Lookout Pass line with good results.

Absolutely fantastic. I cannot help but wonder as my eyes follow the ROW driving along the interstate thru Montana what these scenes must've been like.
