It's true the Santa Fe continued to use the initial paint diagrams for the Class 16 F3s, even after their upgrade to an F7 appearance. Note as well the original shrouded roof fans remain, and stainless steel side panels were not added, while the deeper shadows of the rivet strips between the portholes, betray their first upgrade to chicken-wire screening, from the as-built, three-porthole design, which dictated the longer Warbonnet design. Pity that the goof with the silver paint spray can didn't bother masking the front of the unit when he tried to disguise damage to the anti-climb bar...he even sprayed the front knuckle !
