Steven... Thanks for your nice photo and the update on Minot. I've been wondering if the BNSF was still closed and I'm glad to see it's finally open again. My heart goes out to all whose homes have been severely damaged or destroyed in this terrible flood. Unfortunately, what you wrote above, "...Minot will never be the same" is so painfully true. Homes and businesses have been lost and lives have been changed, but I have to believe that life will be good again sometime soon in Minot.

A basic, but yet powerful image of the forces of nature upon everyday life. Thanks for your contribution, Steven.

Not only is it a great picture...it is historic given the nature of the national disaster.

This is an incredible photo. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but this one left me speechless. Nice one, Steven.

The railroaders are a unique specie in this world! I'm glad that their efforts could made possible the running of this train.
