Lets all THANK the departed Delaware & Hudson for allowing this building to continue to stand despite its' being of little or no use to them for MANY, MANY years.

Thanks for the kind words, guys! This was a really tough shot to crop and to process. I now wish I'd made it a bit more contrasty and that I'd cut the sides just a tad bit tighter. The North Creek depot was preserved by a local historical group. The credit for saving it goes to them. The original D&H-era steel station sign is displayed inside. I should also note that the coach Roosevelt used for his famous "midnight ride" from Tahawus to the train station is on display at the Adirondack Museum in Blue Mountain Lake, N.Y.
