It's noteworthy that the rails are still shiny, indicating how recently the line was used and how quickly it was knocked off kilter. I bet they are just able to pick this up and slide it back into alignment. Unfortunately, other lines will take some time to rebuild.

Aaron: I was thinking the same thing regarding the rebuild. It looks bad but should be an easy fix compared to replacing middle piers on bridges (as will be the case up in White River Junction).
