It's all a matter of taste or expectations, I guess. I always thought, compared with the sooty black of PC or the junk that N&W ran through my neighborhood at the time, that the tuxedos Southern units sported were the essence of class! Those high hoods even added a suitable element of snobbishness. Nice photo of 2819 getting ready for the evening!
