Now that's street running.
(BTW, I've never heard what the American term is for the stainless steel boxes containing electrical circuitry/equipment which are placed along mainline railways at periodic intervals, but whatever they're called that silver box on the left side of the picture looks as though it could be this particular railroad's equivalent. If it were, how appropriate that it's by an outdoor spiral staircase.)

For what its worth - I doubt its a location cabinet as the branch was operated by a ground-frame and token.
