You just had to post your version didn't you, Jim? That's ok.. Just wait for it.. I've got more to post. ;)

Hey Chase, don't pick on Jim. When we finally get a chance to shoot ANY train in this area (let alone a unique one such as this), we need to take advantage of every possible opportunity.... ;)

There isn't a whole in Michigan, is there? Joking aside, glad you caught him! Looks great!

No. There isn't Chase. That was my point....this is my hometown. Since the CP traffic was re-routed from CSX to the NS, and now coal primarily coming from the south (PR) to West Olive, things have virtually dried up to a 'dribble' right here. In fact, a CSX friend said that coal trains here (Jenison) are often headed to/from Essexville (east side). Unless Jim actually saw this as loads (and I am NOT doubting him), this could have been mty's heading west to PR.

Jeff, there has been plenty of coal traffic lately in both directions on the CSX line through Michigan. This was a loaded train with eastern coal heading to West Olive. These locos then returned with an empty train the next day, and Chase eventually caught them down in West Virginia four days after my shot.

Great news. I have been hearing some heavier train traffic from the house (can't see the tracks any more) but unable to see the tonnage. I thought that they may have been loading up 326-7... but it must be eastern coal! Bring it on....Thanks Jim
