Apparently a blown turbocharger was pushed too hard :)

Note: 4817 is an ex-Conrail B40-8... Maybe NS just likes to put on a show every now and then with its GEs.

It was good work by that train crew to know where the fire hydrant was located and to spot their second unit right on the crossing. I bet that the firemen hardly got their boots wet.

An incident like this occurred in Truckee while I was there a few days ago. A UP GEVO had caught fire and Cal Fire was called to the scene. I unfortunately did not get any pics of that though. Awesome shot.

They should have dowsed that SD60 in gasoline and let the fire spread before putting it out.
