Those engine blocks are still there by the city tracks. A company called CMR (a 3rd party scrapper) took care of the C30s that were there in 2008. The majority of their work is scrapping rail or derailed cars which are trucked from outlying locations. The industry ships scrap metal in gondolas on regular basis.
